How can I purchase Studio Tekk products?

You can purchase our products by contacting us through the “Contact Us” section on our website. Alternatively, you can email us at connect@studiotekk.com with your requirements and delivery location. We will respond with a quotation and relevant details. In order to confirm your order, an initial payment will have to be made to which you will receive a confirmation email for the same.

What is the lead time after placing an order?
Our production lead time ranges from 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the order size. Delivery times outside Bangalore typically range from 3 to 10 days, based on the delivery location.
Do you ship within India?
Yes, we ship to most locations in India. Contact us with your requirements and delivery address, and we will provide further information.
Do you ship internationally?

We do not offer international shipping currently.

What are the charges for shipping and packaging?

Packaging charges are included in our retail prices. Shipping costs vary based on the delivery location. For deliveries within Bangalore, we use Porter, and the cost depends on Porter charges, which will be communicated to you on the day of delivery. For deliveries outside Bangalore, charges will be as per the actual rates of the delivery partner and will be shared accordingly.

How can I experience Studio Tekk furniture before purchasing?

Studio Tekk operates as an online catalog store without a retail location. However, we have a studio experience space and a warehouse in Bangalore. We regularly post images on our Instagram page. You can also schedule an appointment to visit our studio or warehouse by contacting us via WhatsApp or through the “Contact Us” page on our website.

What is your return policy?

We provide refunds or replacements only for furniture damaged during shipping. To report any damage, please email us within one week of delivery, including photographic evidence and a photo of the packaging. We do not offer exchanges for undamaged items.

What is your warranty or after-sales support policy?

We provide a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. If you have a valid claim for manufacturing-related damage within one year from the date of sale, we will send a replacement product.

Do you take custom design orders and customize cataloged products?

We understand furniture is not a one-size-fits-all situation, so we do accept custom design orders, provided they meet the minimum order value. Please get in touch with us to discuss your precise requirements. For customizing our catalogued products, these have been developed through multiple prototypes and renditions. While sizes and dimensions are typically comfortable for most uses, we can accommodate sensible changes for specific needs. When fabric or cane is involved, we offer various options for customers to choose from. Customers can also source their own fabric, and we will adjust the product price accordingly.

General Care and Maintenance

Studio Tekk furniture is made with premium teak wood and traditional construction methods, ensuring durability and longevity. However, all furniture is subject to environmental factors and wear and tear over time. Proper care and maintenance can enhance the beauty and functionality of your furniture for generations.

To ensure the lasting beauty of your Studio Tekk furniture, place it away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Use coasters or trivets for hot or cold items, and dust regularly with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a damp cloth with a mild wood cleaner and avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives.

Teak and cane are naturally weather-resistant, but prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture, and temperature fluctuations can affect the finish. Position your furniture away from windows, balconies, or terraces that receive direct sunlight or rain.

Most of our furniture is made from teak wood, known for its durability and natural oil content. Teak improves with age, becoming richer in color, and it doesn’t require periodic oiling or maintenance. For sticky spots, use a soft cloth with a solution of 4 parts water and 1 part mild dish detergent. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and apply hard wax oil if there is discoloration.

Many of our furniture pieces feature hand-woven cane seats and backs. Use seat cushions to distribute pressure evenly and prevent damage. Do not stand or kneel on cane seats to avoid breakage. Keep cane furniture away from extreme heat and low humidity to prevent drying and brittleness. Wipe food stains or drink spills promptly with a moist cloth. In humid climates, clean mold or mildew with diluted soap water and a soft brush. Let the cane dry naturally for at least 48 hours. Oil the cane surface every six months with linseed oil, teak oil, or similar. Apply with a soft cloth or brush, allow drying, and repeat.
